Realistic Trees in Watercolour with Jacqui Blackman.
This instructional guide starts out in the countryside looking at the character of a few common varieties of trees. Then back to the studio where the use of a double loaded brush technique with the filbert brush makes painting trees easy. You are taken step by step through this successful but unusual method of applying watercolour. Plenty of detailed instruction on loading the brush and applying the paint for a deciduous and a coniferous type tree.  All rights reserved. Artra Productions.

video review

Painting Flowers in Oils.

This is an in-depth instructional video, that looks at the construction of flowers, especially the foreshortened front petal. The painting is completed wet-on-wet from background, to leaves in detail, to the Poppies, followed by the addition of Daises and some line-work, also a little about correcting mistakes. Details of all the basic brush strokes, palette colours and colour mixing needed to complete the painting, with plenty of helpful tips along the way.  All rights reserved.  Artra Productions.
